Why this vaccine matters
Two-dose oral vaccine (Dukoral) helping prevent cholera and some ETEC-caused diarrhoea.
Who needs it
- •Travelers to areas with active cholera outbreaks
- •Humanitarian responders and long-term volunteers
Dosage & protection
Doses: Adults: 2 oral doses taken 1-6 weeks apart. Booster after 2 years if risk continues.
Protection: Up to 2 years after primary course.
Preparation tips
- •Avoid food/drink 1 hour before and after each dose
- •Complete course at least 1 week before travel

- •Stomach upset
- •Headache or fatigue
